Donating back to the community

The Vancouver Native Health Society is a non-profit organization that provides medical and dental care at free or significantly discounted services for those in need. Established in 1991, the intention of the organization was to focus on improving the accessibility of healthcare to the indigenous population. Since then, it has grown to provide many other services, including counselling and service programs to its users.

On December 26, 2020, PYK Consultants Ltd, Resgood Medical Inc, and other donors donated 6,000 KN95 masks and 2,000 S99 Orange masks to the Vancouver Native Health Society’s Downtown Eastside Clinic.


Servicing over 1800 people families and individuals per year, the Developmental Disabilities Association is a community living agency. The main aim of the agency is to prove its 50 community-based programs and services to children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families in Vancouver and Richmond.

PYK Consultants LTD, Resgood Medical Inc, and other donors were very pleased to donate 3900 masks.


Operating for over 130 years, First United Church is an organization committed to aiding the social justice movement, and has offered advocacy, housing and healing programs in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Whether it be donating up to 150,000 meals every year, to operating year-round shelters, their work in the community has proven to be extremely important and necessary.

Founded in 2007, PALS Autism Society offers a school program for children aged 5-18 and an adult program for adults 19 and older. With a vision of creating a model learning environment supporting individuals with autism, this organization provides year-round educational programs designed to encourage individual growth. The work that this organization provides is challenging but necessary. Despite the pandemic, they continue to provide much-needed services to kids in need.

PYK Consultants Ltd, Resgood Medical Inc, and other donors in partnership with Sandy Shi (CCSF Autism Foundation) and Andrea Kasunic (Senior Development Director of PALS) are delighted to have donated 3,900 Rainbow Fun Masks on December 12, 2020.

Since its inception in 1897, YWCA Metro Vancouver has worked tirelessly to achieve women's equality. YWCA is one of Metro Vancouver's largest and most diversified non-profit organizations. PYK Consultants proudly donated 3000 KN95 masks to the organization; in hope of help making sure the YWCA front line staffs and volunteers is well protected while providing such meaningful service in our community.


Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives, A Hub for Volunteering and Giving 

Donation of KN95 and Level 2 procedure masks to Richmond Cares.

Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives is a registered charity based in Richmond, BC. They have been part of the community for over 40 years, with a core mission to encourage and facilitate local philanthropy - through both volunteerism and monetary donations. They work every day to ensure that Richmond's charitable sector has the resources it needs to make a meaningful impact in the community.

PYK Consultants proudly donated 1800 pcs RG-19501-KN95 masks and 3750 pcs Level 2 procedure masks to the organization; in hope of help making sure the RCRG staff and volunteers are well-protected while providing such meaningful service to the Richmond community.

Volunteers commented that the KN95 masks were initially quite difficult to put on. However, an 80-year-old volunteer found a solution and adjusted the face-straps, making the masks easier to wear while not decreasing their protection. Volunteers were very happy with this and requested another 1800 masks, which were delivered on December 11, 2020

Demonstrating the love of Christ, Union Gospel Mission is determined to transform communities by overcoming poverty, homelessness, and addiction.

PYK Consultants proudly donated 5,100 RG-19501-KN95 respiration to the organization; in hope of help making sure the staff and volunteers at the Union Gospel are well protected while providing such meaningful service to the community.

When gauging feedback and comments, Kari Bergrud, the Manager of Church Relations, stated:

"The masks have been great! We are learning that different masks fit different face sizes and shapes. These masks fit perfect for staff that were finding the other masks uncomfortable or too small."

Donation to VSB of colourful and mono-colour masks.

PYK Consultants donated 5,500 RG-19501-KN95 and colourful masks for District schools. "We are pleased to make this donation to support student safety during these times,"" says company director Douglas Kavanagh.

The masks will be distributed to vulnerable families in the District.
